Asda's Baby and Toddler Event

I mentioned the other day about Asda’s Baby and Toddler Event in my post about their new initiative in association with the charity Tommy’s to provide women who are trying to conceive and pregnant women free folic acid.  Their baby and toddler event started on Monday the 23rd of April and the in-store event runs for two weeks.  There are lots of offers and discounts to be had during their baby and toddler events, great for parents-to-be to prepare for the arrival of their baby/babies and perfect for parents to save some money on items they need for their little one/s.  Their offers are available on a whole range of products including well-known brands and new products.  During this two week event there are also brilliant offers available at George so you can get outfits and clothing essentials at great prices.

When I was expecting Tristan we bought a few things during Asda’s baby and toddler events.  I still use for storing bath toiletries the Johnson’s Baby Skincare Essentials box we bought which can be purchased during this event for £15, the box comes with various Johnson’s Baby skincare and hygiene products.  I also stocked up on disposable breast pads with their offer on the Little Angels for Mum breast pads which I found to be the best disposable breast pads from the various brands I tried.  As well as getting the award winning Little Angels breast pads I also got other Little Angel toiletries on their great offers.  A variety of Little Angels products are currently 2 for £2.50.

As well as skincare products and toiletries on offer during this event there are also bath products and bath toys available.  Tristan loves his baths and I have previously taken advantage of Asda’s baby event offers to get some great bath toys including Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers and Muchkin Sea Squirts, the pack includes 5 different animals and the Sea Squirt can currently be bought for £4.

As we planned on using cloth nappies from birth and have been exclusively doing so since little man’s birth the disposable nappies weren’t/aren’t relevant to us but for parents who use disposable nappies there are lots of fantastic offers on nappies including Little Angels and Pampers nappies as well as other changing essentials.  You can get Pampers Baby Dry Nappies in mega packs for £15 or Little Angels Comfort Dry nappies at 2 for £10.  Other changing products available on offer during this event are baby wipes, the Little Angels Baby Wipes Fragranced/Fragrance free are available on offer at 4 for £3.

During the baby event Asda also have travel and safety products on offer.  Travel items include various car seats, buggies and travel cots available as well as related products such as a pram lock and parasol.  You can get a Nania Teamtex Trio Car Seat for £25 and a Chicco Winter London Stroller for £55 which looks great value for money.  Safety items available include safety gates, thermometers and baby monitors.  I have a Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Digital Thermometer which I think is a fantastic product and extremely easy to use; this thermometer can be purchased during the event for £20.

As well as practical items you can also purchase playtime products during this event, there are a range of branded toys available at amazing prices.  I adore the Mamas and Papas rocking animals especially the caterpillar which can be purchased for £40 and the Bright Starts Bunch of Fun little elephant and cow look very colourful and stimulating for little ones and both animals are available for £6 each.

Asda are also offering discounts on feeding and weaning essentials and food and milk products.  There are offers on bottles, sterilisers, high chairs, cutlery and drinking cups.  I particularly like the bright colours and look of the Nuby Super Soft Beakers for £2 and the Tommee Tippee Explora First Cutlery Set for £4 looks perfect for little man.  There are various offers on milk and food, as a fan of Ella’s Kitchen I particularly like the offer on the Ella’s Kitchen First Taste Packs for £2.50 which comes four pouches of organic baby food and a CD of tunes to entertain your little one/s.

Whilst pregnant and since Tristan was born I have also purchased clothing during their baby events at George in Asda.  New baby essentials can be purchased with prices starting from just £2 and multi-pack body and sleep suits available for £5.  There are fantastic reductions across the clothing collection at George and there are some very adorable little outfits available to clothe your little cuties.  Asda are also offering an online exclusive of 25% off selected babywear at George.  Even though it isn't part of the baby event or the exclusive discount I love this Tigger dungaree outfit which can be purchased for £12.

On offer currently at Asda are Centrum Multivitamins at 3 for £10, available to purchase with this great offer are Centrum Pregnancy Care multivitamins and Centrum Kids Chewable Fruity Flavoured Tablets.  Calpol Infant, Calpofren, Calpol Sixplus and Calpol Nasal Spray are currently available for £2.

Pop over to your local Asda and pick up some great products on offer during their baby event which started on April the 23rd and lasts until May the 4th.  Remember if you are trying to conceive or are currently pregnant go to Asda’s Pharmacy to get free Folic Acid and a Healthy Pregnancy Guide produced by the baby charity Tommy’s.

As an extra special treat during this baby event, Asda Baby is running a prize giveaway on their Facebook page where a different prize will be given away every day from 23rd April to 4th May.  Also from the 28th of April, stores will be creating entertainment areas where children can take part in a colouring competition with the chance to win a £20 gift voucher.
