Father's Day 2013 gifts from Asda.

Even though Bug does not understand the concept of Father’s Day he loves buying daddy gifts.  Bug gets very excited if we pick up a little treat for daddy, for example he always gets excited if we pick up a packet of biscuits for daddy when shopping intuitively declaring them as “daddy’s biscuits”.  With Bug’s excitement and glee at buying daddy little gifts and treats so strong of late I know he will thoroughly enjoy treating daddy to a little gift and lots of cuddles this Father’s Day.

As I know Bug will be over the moon at giving daddy a little gift this Sunday I have been on the lookout for some lovely Father’s Day gifts that won’t cost the Earth.  Bug is going to get creative and make daddy a Father’s Day card and we plan on going on a little shopping trip to buy a gift for him to give his daddy on Sunday.  As we got a few bits and pieces for Father’s Day from Asda last year I have been browsing their website for Father’s Day gift ideas in preparation for our shopping trip in the next couple of days.

What I love about the wide range of Father’s Day gift ideas from Asda is that they have categorised the gifts to suit dads who have different interests and with such an impressive range of gift ideas there are gifts suitable for all dads.

For dads who enjoy a tad of indulgent and a treat or two Asda have some great offers on classic Father’s Day gifts such as chocolates, whiskey and beer.  Bug’s daddy have a sweet tooth so we many pick up some chocolate treats for him to enjoy; the large box of Maltesers for £3.00 is very tempting and the Toblerone milk chocolate available for £3.00 is always a hit.  For dads who enjoy a tipple of whiskey Asda have Famous Grouse Scotch Whiskey on offer at £11.00 for a 70cl bottle.  Asda also have some great offers on beer and lager, including this brilliant offer on Carling Lager with a 20 pack on a rollback price offer from £15.00 to £12.00.

For dads who enjoy DVD’s and music Asda have a mix and match offer on videos, music and books perfect for treating them this Father’s Day.  There are a great choice of films and music available on 3 for £25 mix and match offer on music, videos and books; you could treat your dad to an entertaining film, a music CD and a book for a good read or a mixture of videos, music and books from the wide choice.  Also perfect for Digital Dads there a huge choice of cameras available.  As Bug’s daddy loves photography I would love to treat him to a swanky new camera (plus I could use it too) but unfortunately our budget won’t stretch that far.  For book worm dads who love technology Asda have available Kobo e-Reader’s with prices starting from £25.00.

Asda have it covered when it comes to gifts for Dapper Dads.  There are a wide range of smart and stylish clothes and accessories at George and an impressive range of Aftershave’s and Eau De Toilette’s for men.

For Action Dads you can purchase experience days at Asda.  There are a huge range of experience days and days out to choose from, perfect for thrill seeking dads.  I am very tempted to get Bug’s dad one of these experience days as he is a huge adventure, thrill seeking person and I know he would love to do a number of experience days.  In particular I know he would love the water sports adventures especially the kayaking, he would love the zombie boot camp experience and he would also love driving experiences as he loves driving and fast cars.  There are also army adventures, tank driving, parachute jumps, sky dives and Segway packages available.

There are a great range of novelty Father’s Day gifts available at Asda that are perfect for Joke Dads, with silly treats, snazzy t-shirts and funky socks aplenty.

For Sentimental Dads there are lots of products that can be personalised with a loving touch.  There are lots of different sized canvases that can have special photographs printed on them and there are a range of mugs with different designs that can be personalised as a lovely gift for dads this Father’s Day.

For green fingered dads there are lots of lovely plants and beautiful blooms of flowers that any Green Dad would love.

Asda also have a great range of very affordable universal Father’s Day products, perfect for gifting this Sunday.  The range of affordable Father’s Day products is perfect for children to buy to give to their dad with prices starting from £1.  The ‘World’s Greatest Dad’ badge for £1 is great for children to show their appreciation of their dad and I think the ‘Super Dad’ toast stamp for £1 is a very cute and novel way for children to show their love.  I love the ‘I love Dad’ mug for £1, the ‘No1 Best Ever Dad’ pint glass for £3 and the ‘I love my dad’ photo frame for £3; I think they are extremely affordable and lovely gifts.
