Woolly and Tig Songs for Wobbly Moments CD review.

Golden Bear recently sent Bug some Woolly and Tig goodies.  He got a new CD for the hit CBeebies show Woolly and Tig along with a big, fluffy Woolly soft toy to enjoy.

Being no stranger to the TV series Woolly and Tig, where little viewers get to see the adventures of Tig along with her toy spider Woolly who helps Tig explore the feelings she has when faced with new experiences, Bug was delighted to get a CD filled with fun songs from the TV show.

The brand new Woolly and Tig Songs for Wobbly Moments CD will be launched on the 7th July 2014.

Woolly and Tig Songs for Wobbly Moments features 20 fun filled songs from the TV show -
*  Big Stomps
*  If There wasn’t a “No”
*  The Thunder Bang Song
*  Funky Dunky
*  Bunches
*  Rubba Dubba Rock
*  I Like Monsters
*  Counting Kisses
*  I Love Woolly
*  Holidays
*  Elves & Shoemaker
*  Give a Smile
*  Weenie Worries
*  I Love Mummy
*  Mairi’s Wedding
*  Cheeky Wee Echo
*  One More Step
*  Agree to Disagree
*  Auld Lang Syne
*  Counting Kisses Woolly’s Solo

The CD has songs from the show as well as songs that relate to the show’s message of teaching children about emotions and new experiences, showing through Tig who has Woolly as support and reassurance during new experiences how to deal with the emotions that are connected to unfamiliar experiences so that children overcome worries and deal with the experience with confidence and happiness.

The songs are catchy, fun and easy to sing along and dance to.  The songs have great lyrics and I especially like that a number of the songs focus on emotions, worries and experiences that little ones can relate to, such as ‘Big Stomps’ a song about how to turn anger into laughter and ‘ Funky Dunky’ which shows that going to the Doctor or Dentist can be funky fun.

Being a fan of the show, Bug loves the CD and has enjoyed singing along and dancing to songs from the show.  This CD will appeal to young children and fans of the show, who will enjoy listening to songs from the show and will easily recognise the show’s theme tune ‘I Love Woolly’.

The CD also gives little ones a little bit of creative fun with a Colour me in! Woolly included in the CD sleeve.

As well as enjoying the CD Bug also loves his fluffy new friend Woolly who he insists will be going along to school with him on the next ‘Show and Tell’ day.

The CD will be available at all major retailers from the 7th July 2014 so remember to pick up your Woolly and Tig fan a copy of the CD to sing along to.

For Woolly and Tig fans there is also a range of other Woolly and Tig toys, books, DVDs and an app available for them to enjoy.

*  Bug was sent a copy of the Woolly and Tig Songs for Wobbly Moments CD and a Woolly soft to in return for his opinions in this review that contains the thoughts of myself and Bug *
