DIY Home Improvements

Sometimes, having a side project after work, or on weekends is a great way to keep yourself busy. Whether it’s putting up a shelf or building a birdhouse, DIY can be the way to go! Here are just a few ways you can improve your house yourself.

Decorate your fridge
Weird one, right? But when you think about it, most fridges come in white. So why not add some paint to it. You could paint it a similar colour to your kitchen or you could give it a bright pattern. This doesn’t even need to be done with paint. You could get tape and create patterns. This is a great idea for temporary decorations like you would put up for Christmas. In fact, you could even use this technique to decorate your fridge for Christmas and other holidays.

TV ideas
Many smart TV’s nowadays have a screensaver option. This can be used to display family photos or it will come with photos. You could add some class to your living room by mounting your TV on your wall and adding a frame around it. Then set your TV screen saver to your favourite art piece and you have your own personal gallery in your living room. If art isn’t your thing, you could set up a slideshow of family pictures to make your living room feel more like home when there’s nothing good on TV.

Your Garden
Maybe save this one for when the weather is better. What could be better than sitting in the sun, improving your home. Not much. There’s a huge list of tasks you can do in your garden to improve it. From replacing your garden shed windows with Perspex sheets to building a birdhouse or even a shed!
