Bio-Oil Review

I suffer with PCOS and one of the symptoms of it that I suffer from is bad skin.  I have tried and used a variety of different lotions and potions to help my skin, to keep it looking healthy and moisturised and more even skin tone but so far nothing has managed to visibility improve my skin.  As such when I was asked to review Bio Oil I jumped at the chance to see whether it would help my poor skin and maybe even help improve the many stretch marks on my body.

Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare product.  Its unique formulation contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil which reduces the thickness of the oil formulation which enables it be easily absorbed.  The bio-oil is formulated to help improve –

Bio-Oil’s specialist formulation contains vitamins E and A, Calendula oil, Lavender oil, Rosemary Oil and Chamomile Oil.  It is suggested to apply the oil twice daily for a minimum of 3 months.  During pregnancy apply twice daily from the start of the second trimester.

The oil comes in plain, simple yet stylish packaging.  I have been faithfully applying it twice a day since I received the oil and I am very impressed with Bio-Oil.  It has a pleasant scent and silky texture.  It absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving a non-greasy, light scent.  It leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated. Compared to other skincare products I have used the Bio-Oil is remarkably better at keeping my skin feeling moisturised and hydrated.

Since using this oil I have noticed an improvement in my skin tone and a few of my less prominent stretch marks are hard to notice now.  I think with continued use the Bio-Oil will further improve my uneven skin tone and help improve the appearance of my numerous stretch marks, even the very obvious ones.


I love the Bio-Oil and would highly recommend it.  I love that it is multi-function oil having a variety of benefits.  I will most definitely continue to use this oil regularly and I just wish I had tried it before now.
