A nutty adventure with Ice Age's Scrat awaits gamers!
A few months ago to my
delight I shared the icetastic news that BANDAI Namco Entertainment Europe and Outright Games were releasing a new game based on the
wonderful Ice Age film franchise - Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure.
In Ice Age: Scrat’s
Nutty Adventure, Scrat, the calamitous sabre-toothed squirrel, will
embark on an epic quest through classic Ice Age locations
to recover his cherished acorn from the ancient Scratazon Temple.
Only the legendary Crystal Nuts can unlock his prized possession,
which Scrat will attempt to collect as he faces fierce prehistoric
creatures, to return the missing relics to their rightful home.
In this 3D action
platforming adventure game, players will guide Scrat through a
perilous journey across icy terrains, raging geysers and burning
lava. Explore adventure-packed locations to discover treasures that
unlock special powers and help Scrat to jump higher, grab heavier
objects and find every last treasure in this all-new Nutty adventure!
When I first heard the
news that the nutty Scrat was going to have his own game there was no
specific release date, only that it would be released in Autumn 2019.
It has now been
announced that Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure will be released on
Playstation 4®, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC digital on the
18th October 2019!
A nutty new gameplay
trailer has also been released showcasing the sub-zero hero's
perilous adventures in his prehistoric world. Take a look at the

Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty
Adventure will release worldwide on PlayStation®4, Xbox One,
Nintendo Switch™ and PC digital October 18th, 2019 (December 6th in
Australia and New Zealand) and is available to pre-order now from
local retailers.
We love the Ice Age films so I am sure we would love this game. It certainly looks like a lot of fun.
