In the technological age that we live in I have succumbed to
having numerous gadgets and electronics as a part of my daily life. I always have my mobile phone and digital
camera to hand as I love to be able to capture moments of little man’s life
with either device. I take numerous
photos every week and like to upload them to my laptop to store them as well as
sharing them on here and on facebook to my friends and family. It can get a bit annoying having different
cables for attaching my phone and digital camera as well as other technological
devices such as my MP3 player; so when I was offered the chance to test out an
innovative cable that allows you to connect multiples devices I thought this might
be the solution to having numerous cables for all the difference devices we
use.
Innergie make products to “power your life” and one of their
products is the Magic Cable Trio. This 3-in-1
USB cable is a multi-functioning cable that allows you to charge and sync
numerous portable devices. The magic
cable enables people to connect and charge devices across 3 connection
interfaces with just 1 cable.
The Magic Cable Trio has an innovative multi-tip design that
works with a wide range of devices –
* A Mini USB that is
compatible with HTC, GPS units, MP3 players, digital cameras and more
* A Micro USB that is
compatible with Blackberry, eBooks, Bluetooth headsets and more
* A connector for
Apple products including iPad, iPhone, iPod
The cable is small and lightweight, measuring 20cm long and weighing only 15g, it is well made and thicker than average cables. It is easy to use the Magic Cable Trio to sync and charge devices; you simply connect your device to the Mini USB, the Micro USB or Apple connector and attach the normal USB connector at the other end of the cable to your laptop or computer. The connector tips have been made using an innovative design where in this single cable they are linked together and can be attached or detached depending on which connector is needed to work; for example if you want to use the Micro USB connector you push the Mini USB connector into the Micro USB connector which you attach to the device you want to charge and sync.
I really like the Magic Cable Trio and think it is a novel, ingenious
product. It is great that you have the
ability to charge and sync a variety of devices in a single cable. I like that it worked with my HTC Desire C
phone and my digital camera as they are the main devices that I connect to my
laptop and it’s good to know that it would charge and sync our GPS unit when
needed and if I could afford to replace my broken iPod that it would work with
a new iPod too. Unfortunately it is not
compatible for Lee’s mobile phone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace but this isn’t that
big a deal for us as I never need to sync his phone and he is happy to do so
with the cable that came with his phone when he needs to sync it with the
laptop. Thankfully there is a compatibility
checker tool on the Innergie website that you can use to check to see if your
device is compatible with various Innergie products.
