  3. A traditional and eco-friendly cleaning method I always use is using baking soda. It's a brilliant cleaning aid with so many uses! Mixing it with a little water is a brilliant way to clean grease from your cooker top, it's also fantastic for removing stains on the carpet, and I even sprinkle a little on the carpets before hoovering, as it really freshens them up!

  16. Warm water, with some lemon juice added. As the lemon juice works on the grease whilst leaving a nice fresh smell. Can be used on worktops etc.

  67. To descale a shower head and unblock the holes, immerse it in white vinegar overnight, in the morning brush with a stiff brush.

  91. Would love to try the bathroom spray, our shower gets dirty pretty quickly so would be great to have something eco to use frequently. I find lemon and vinegar is great for glass and streaks and very cheap :)

  129. My green cleaning tip is to use vinegar soaked onto a cotton wool pad to soak off limescale on the edge of taps, attach the soaked pad with an elastic band and leave for a day. When you take it off the limescale should have dissolved and you can remove easily.
