Every once
in a while I enjoy a little flutter, enjoying the fun of the game whilst hoping
lady luck will shine down upon me so that I win big.
I hope for
a win when I pick up a lottery ticket and eagerly anticipate finding a winning
match on a scratchcard. Once in a blue moon I have a little wager by
placing a bet hoping my luck comes in and I win against the odds. I also
enjoy dabbling with online bingo and slots, enjoying the fun games and the chance
of winning.
One of my
favourite games that I like to indulge in which allows a little gamble is
poker. Whilst I am far from being a hard-core, high-stakes poker player every
once in a while I enjoy playing a game or two with my friends when lots of fun
and a flutter is had.
In recent
years Poker has become hugely popular. The world of hard-core,
high-rolling poker has become a glamorous world where high-stakes are played
and players can lose big or win big.
As my
skills in the art of poker playing are limited and my chances of ever winning
BIG in a game of poker are very limited - especially as I doubt I would ever be
able to play in a high stakes tournament let alone compete against skilled
professional poker players - I love to watch poker tournaments and admire the
skilled players hoping to pick up some poker tips whilst imagining I am the one
winning big and masterfully playing poker.
Being a
fan of poker and the players who have mastered the skilful art of poker playing
I enjoy watching the PCA 10 Poker 2013 – $100k Super High Roller live Poker
Star tournament. I bow down to the skilled professional poker stars
featured in episode one of the $100k PCA 2013 Super High Roller live Poker Star
tournament, poker players such as Phil Ivey, Antonio Esfandiari, Steve O’Dwyer
and Ike Haxton. Episode one of the tournament also features cameo
appearances from Phil Hellmuth and Tom Dwan.
The exciting
poker action continues on day two of the PCA 2013 - $100k Super High
Roller live Poker Star tournament. In episode two of the tournament, which had
an impressive prize pool of $5.7m with over $2m going to the winner, we see who
wins the poker battle.
The
feature table line-up includes some of the finest minds in the world of poker
including Tom Dwan, Antonio Esfandiari, ElkY, Dan Shak, Steve O’Dwyer,
Vivek Rajkumar and JC Alvarado.
Do you play poker? Do you think you're skilled enough at the art of poker playing to take on the Poker Stars from the tournament?
