Bread and Butter Pudding.

Now that there is a cold chill in the air as we are enjoy Autumn and anticipate Winter, we have been enjoying warm puddings. Warm puddings are a tasty treat to warm you up from the inside, a comforting treat that is delicious and homely.

This afternoon whilst the rain was pouring down outside and a biting cold chill filled the air Bug and I baked one of my favourite puddings - bread and butter pudding.

I love bread and butter pudding as it evokes fond memories of sitting in our farmhouse kitchen watching my dear late Mamgu put together a bread and butter pudding in a blink of an eye then smelling the sweet aroma of the hearty pudding baking in the oven.

I love how simple bread and butter pudding is to make. This Bread and Butter pudding recipe from Sunrise Senior Living is super easy to follow to make a delicious, mouth-watering pudding.

Following the recipe above, Bug and I made a scrummy bread and butter pudding to warm us up on a rainy Autumn afternoon.

The only change we made to the original recipe was to serve it without the custard as Bug decided it as yummy enough by itself.
