Weleda White Mallow baby skincare products - review.

I’ve loved Weleda for a number of years now. When Bug was a baby their range of baby skincare Calendula products were my favourite baby skincare products and their Chamomilla 3X granules were a lifesaver when he was teething.

As I love Weleda and their natural and organic products it was no surprise that when I had Jelly Bean I once again visited the Weleda website to stock up on their products, especially the Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream which has been loved by parents for 30 years.

With my love of Weleda once again revived I was delighted to be able to try out their newer range of baby skincare products – Weleda Baby White Mallow products.

White Mallow Face Cream
This award winning face cream (RPP £9.95) is made using carefully selected natural and organic ingredients, 97% organic ingredients in fact! Not only does it include 97% organic ingredients but it has also been NATRUE certified as 100% natural, being fragrance free with no essential oils, synthetic perfume, artificial additives or mineral oils. The face cream is made of a gentle blend of precious extracts of organic White Mallow, pansy, organic coconut oil and organic sesame oil.

The fragrance free face cream is designed to care for delicate baby skin and is also suitable for sensitive adult skin. The dermatologically tested face cream is suitable for vegetarians.

The White Mallow face cream boasts being good for calming skin, providing intensive moisture and care, soothing irritated skin, reliving itching, as well as strengthening the skin’s protective barrier and providing protection against harmful environmental stimuli.

The 50ml tube is great to use and easy to apply. The face velvety cream rubs in well and is absorbed by the skin brilliantly, it is not greasy, and leaves skin feeling silky smooth. The face cream has a delicate aroma of white musk and coconut oil which subtly lingers on the skin long after use.

The face cream nourishes Jelly Bean’s sensitive facial skin, providing constant hydration for hours after use. I love that as the face cream is made from natural ingredients it is mild enough to be used several times a day if needed.

Since using the face cream Jelly Bean’s skin is looking healthy and nourished and thanks to the calming protective layer from the prime plant ingredient, White Mallow his skin is no longer being irritated by teething dribble and harsh chilly winds from our outdoor adventures and school runs.

White Mallow Body Lotion
The White Mallow Body Lotion (RRP £11.95) is also award winning, fragrance free and organic. The certified organic body lotion is 95% organic and suitable for vegetarians.  Like the face cream it features precious extracts of organic White Mallow and Pansy to soothe skin prone to irritation. It also has organic coconut oil and organic sesame oil for intensive care moisturising, cooling and soothing.

The 200ml bottle is easy to use and the lotion is dispersed nicely with the shaped bottle fitting great in the hand as you squeeze out the lotion for use.

The body lotion is thinner in consistency compared to the face cream, with the milky lotion massaging well into the skin and absorbing into the skin relatively quickly.

Fortunately Jelly Bean’s skin does not suffer from any irritations so I have not been able to see if it would help soothe irritation. The body lotion has been great for providing moisturising care, with his skin feeling super soft and healthy.

We have loved the new range of Weleda skincare products for baby and will be using them for a long time to come. The White Mallow products have joined the Weleda Calendula products as firm baby skincare favourites in our household.
