As we await the arrival of baby number three to help the boys bond with baby and be excited about their little brother we’ve been looking for the perfect baby gift that they can give him.

However finding the perfect baby gift they can give him has been tricky. To help them feel like great big brothers giving their new little baby brother a lovely gift we wanted to find an original, practical gift that looks and feels special.

The hamper arrived beautifully packaged in an understated elegant and beautiful pinstripe brown box adorned with a gorgeous red ribbon. The box is made from recycled board and paper from sustainable forests and are 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable.

Inside of the box the contents was lovingly wrapped in recycled tissue paper adorned with The Baby Hamper Company logo. 

The way the hamper is carefully and luxuriously wrapped showcases the love and care taken to create the hamper which makes the gift feel extra special.

In addition to the lovely products, inside of the hamper is a card that cleverly suggests re-using the box to make a sensory box. I love this little addition because not only does it encourage recycling the box which is great for the environment but it also inspires sensory play with baby as it grows. As the box is strong and beautiful not only would be perfect for creating a sensory box but it would also make a lovely keepsake box.

Aden & Anais Musy muslin square

A must-have new baby product, the muslin square is perfect for feeding baby and cleaning up any spills. The versatility of a muslin square it is not just useful for feeding times but good for burping and as a lightweight swaddle blanket plus so much more.

This muslin square is not only a great, practical gift for new parents but it also beautiful too. Lovely and soft the muslin square is well made and is adorned with a gorgeous Winnie the Pooh print. The print gives the muslin square a classic look with splashes of colour added to the lovely illustrations of Winnie the Pooh and his beloved friends. 

Skip Hop Silver Lining Cloud Starry rattle

Another practical yet also beautiful gift is the Skip Hop rattle. The rattle is a cloud with stars and rain drops dangling from it. It features textured surfaces for teething and is designed for little ones aged 3+ months. It is well made and the high quality product is BPA free and phthalate free. The cloud is the perfect size for little hands to hold so they can use it as a rattle toy and teether.

Baby Bunting Star Print bodysuit and hat

Made from 100% pure cotton, the Baby Says Hi bodysuit and hat are gorgeously soft. The white and grey star print is a perfect unisex gift and are very useful items to have with a newborn - you can’t have enough bodysuits and little hats for newborns.

The 0-3 months bodysuit is ideal by itself during warmer weather or under an outfit as a base layer for the winter. The hat is suitable for babies aged 0-6 months and is ideal for keeping little heads warm.

Along with the Really Useful medium baby hamper the boys also picked a little toy to give to their new baby brother.

Pebble Fairtrade Crochet Octopus in blue

Lovingly made the Pebble Fairtrade Crochet Octopus in blue is a wonderfully tactile toy perfect for amusing little ones. Suitable from birth the octopus features a built-in rattle. The blue octopus features stripes of blue to interest little eyes and the adorable little octopus which is approximately 14cm in size is the perfect size for little hands. The fairtrade knitted octopus is made from 100% cotton with 100% polyester filling and can be machine washed.

The crochet octopus (£10.50) which is available in both blue and pink can be purchased on its own or added to a hamper.

I will definitely be using The Baby Hamper Company in the future when looking for new mum and new baby gifts as they are special gifts that would make a lovely treat. Having received one of their hampers I can see why they are award-winning, the hampers are luxurious, special and filled with lovely items from quality brands that are not only practical but beautiful.
