Baby bath time and baby massage with JOHNSON’S® for bonding and happy, healthy baby development.

When I was pregnant with Jelly Bean when I would lay down to have a little rest feeling him kick and wriggle inside of me I would find myself thinking about all the things I could not wait to do with my little bundle of love. My thoughts would turn to when Bug was a baby and of all the precious moments we shared together, creating cherished memories and a beautiful bond. Being especially fond of the first few precious baby months, as Jelly Bean grew inside of me I had the those special baby bonding moments to look forward to once again.

Whilst I have treasured memories of many wonderful moments with Bug and enjoyed so many things with him as a baby, one of the things I especially loved were bath times.

Bug’s love of baths was sparked when he was a baby where he would enjoy bath times followed by a pampering baby massage. I believe our bath time routine with baby massage not only helped care for Bug’s delicate skin but also ignited Bug’s love of baths, strengthened our bond and supported happy, healthy baby development. As I saw the benefits of bath time and baby massage with Bug I was keen to have a good bath time routine and plenty of baby massage with Jelly Bean from very early on.

Sharktastic cuteness - Youngsies towel dressing gown review.

Jelly Bean is a little water baby. He loves having a bath followed by a soothing baby massage.

Obviously an essential needed for bath times is a towel, not only is it needed to dry little ones but it is also needed to keep baby snug and warm after splishy splash baths.

As one of things I eagerly anticipated doing with Jelly Bean was bath times where he could enjoy the benefits of a lovely bath before wrapping him up in a fluffy towel  I could not resist the chance of getting a cute little towel for him.

Youngsies a website brimming with cute animal romper suits, delightful onesies and adorable towel dressing gowns sent Jelly Bean a Shark towel dressing gown for bath times.

Tots100 and Printerpix Photo Competition : Babies under 2 category.

Tots100 are hosting a competition with Printerpix to celebrate family photography giving bloggers the chance to win fantastic prizes.  One lucky blogger with win a brand new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 bridge camera and memory card worth £500 plus a £100 to spend on the Printerpix website.  There are also 4 runners-up prizes to be won, with a large framed photo or canvas print from Printerpix up for grabs.  If you want to learn more or enter (but be quick as the time left to enter is fast approaching) take a look here.

As I love taking photographs and constantly have our little old camera or the camera on my phone to hand to capture moments I could not resist entering this fabulous competition.  I have always loved taking photographs and have so many photographs that are precious to me that I treasure.  Since having little man my love of photography has flourished and love capturing memories and moments to do with little man.  Even though I love my little camera and it has served me very well, it is starting to show signs of being abused used and the button to take pictures is getting slower and slower to responded and as such I miss many brilliant moments, ending up with photos seconds after a fantastic shot.  Because I would love to give my camera a well-earned rest I could not resist entering this  photo-tastic competition.

Water - See It, Snap It, Love It

This week's theme for Dear Beautiful Boy's weekly See It, Snap It, Love It photography challenge is water.  If I had to choose a theme I would have chosen water too so I am pleased that it is this week's theme.

I love water and Mother Nature has created some stunning rivers, waterfalls and oceans which are beautiful and amazing.  I have always been fascinated by the oceans and the creatures who inhabit them.  I love the sound of running water, the sound of a river flowing is a calming noise and there is nothing quite like being curdled up at home listening to the sound of the rain outside. Not only does water look and sound great but it has other amazing qualities too, it replenishes us and gives life to plants and animals.

Hevea POND Bath Toys Review

Tristan loves having a bath and loves playing with his bath toys. We don’t have many toys for the bath so far. When Hevea offered us their POND bath toys to review I was excited about Tristan testing them out and having a new toy to make his bath time fun.

Founder of Hevea Baby, Terese Hoffeldt believes that natural products, sustainable production and stylish designs are vital. When she had her daughter she wanted a pacifier that fulfilled those demands by being a stylish pacifier made from natural rubber. She had no success in finding a pacifier that met her needs of being 100% naturally rubber, a great design, sustainably produced and packaged in an environmentally friendly way. From this lack of pacifiers that met all of her needs she developed the Hevea pacifier and she aims in making parents and children happy with Hevea products now and in the future. The name ‘Hevea’ derives from the Latin name for the species of trees ‘Hevea Brasiliensis’ which is often called rubber tree. The tree’s natural sap extract is what we know as latex and these trees are the primary source of natural rubber.
