Father's Day gift guide.

Even though Father’s Day is fast approaching there is still time left to get the dad in your life a lovely gift to show how much you love and appreciate him.  Father’s Day gifts can be found in most high-street shops, supermarkets and online stores with a huge range of gifts available at a variety of prices to suit all tastes and budgets.

Whilst we love homemade gifts we are also fans of the lovely Father’s Day gifts available on the market to purchase.  After looking at lots of Father’s Day gifts for Bug to find his daddy the perfect gift we have seen lots of lovely gifts perfect for Father’s Day.  From all the lovely gifts we have seen we have hand-picked some of our favourite Father’s Day gifts to include in this last minute Father’s Day gift guide.

This portable 2-in-1 trimmer is the perfect gift for dad’s who want to maintain their facial hair and pamper their skin with the Gillette Skin Care gift pack which includes a Cleansing Thermal Face Scrub and an Energising and Moisturising Lotion.  The Braun cruZer 6 Precision 2-in-1 Trimmer with Gillette Skin Care Gift Pack is currently available at Tesco at the fabulous discounted price of £17.50 (was £34.99).

Father's Day 2013 gifts from Asda.

Even though Bug does not understand the concept of Father’s Day he loves buying daddy gifts.  Bug gets very excited if we pick up a little treat for daddy, for example he always gets excited if we pick up a packet of biscuits for daddy when shopping intuitively declaring them as “daddy’s biscuits”.  With Bug’s excitement and glee at buying daddy little gifts and treats so strong of late I know he will thoroughly enjoy treating daddy to a little gift and lots of cuddles this Father’s Day.

As I know Bug will be over the moon at giving daddy a little gift this Sunday I have been on the lookout for some lovely Father’s Day gifts that won’t cost the Earth.  Bug is going to get creative and make daddy a Father’s Day card and we plan on going on a little shopping trip to buy a gift for him to give his daddy on Sunday.  As we got a few bits and pieces for Father’s Day from Asda last year I have been browsing their website for Father’s Day gift ideas in preparation for our shopping trip in the next couple of days.

Find Me A Gift Father's Day Review

It’s that time of year again.  Father’s day is fast approaching.  Even though you could argue that it is just another day and that you should show your father appreciation all year round it is nice to have this particular day as a reason to treat the father in your life, be it your own father, step-father or your child’s/children’s father, and show them how much you love and appreciate them.
As Lee is a first time dad and this will only be his second father’s day I do like to get him a little something from little man as a token of his love for his daddy who he clearly loves and adores.  I always find it hard to know what to get Lee for a gift and I usually end up resorting to buying predictable things I know he will love for his birthday and Christmas such as games and dvd’s but for father’s day I like to get something a little more meaningful and personal.

With it being quite difficult to know what to get Lee as a gift from little man I was delighted when I was given the chance to review one of Find Me A Gift’s father’s day gifts.

Stuff Every Dad Should Know Book Review

Little man is our first child.  As a first time dad, Lee felt a mixture of emotions leading up to little man’s arrival and when he first entered the big wide World.  Amongst feelings of love and excitement he has felt overwhelmed and worried, wanting to do his best for little man and hoping to cope well with the new challenges of being a dad.  As he has lots of practice with little ones with his nieces and nephews he never had any worry about how to change a nappy, how to hold a baby or how to soothe a crying baby etc. and as such he never bothered reading any baby books, preferring to use his spare time to get ready for little man’s arrival, decorate the nursery (which he did an amazing job on!) and then spend time with our son once he was born.  He would listen and be fascinated by the facts I would tell him from pregnancy and baby books I read but he wasn’t interested in reading books about baby basics himself as he feels a lot of parenting books are very one sided with views that don’t look at different parenting styles.  As Lee has never bothered with baby books, especially ones aimed at Dads he was interested to read one when we were given the opportunity to review ‘Stuff Every Dad Should Know’.
