Baby&More Sleeved Wonder Bib Review

Tristan loves his food and enjoys making a lovely mess.  Standard bibs just don’t keep the mess off of his clothes so I was delighted when Baby&More offered the Mum 2 Mum Sleeved Wonder Bib for Tristan to test hoping that this bib would handle his mealtime mess.

Baby&More was established in 2007 by Kate, a mum of two, with an aim of providing products designed by mums for mums.  They source high quality and award winning practical baby products that are affordable baby solutions that not only look good but most importantly really do work.  Baby&More are passionate about providing brilliant products and providing customers with excellent customer service and pride themselves on only providing customers with brands that produce finished products that are of a high standard.

The Wonder Bib was developed by Mum 2 Mum a company from New Zealand.  Mum 2 Mum was founded in 2004 by two mums who were discouraged with being unable to buy quality products for their children.  Mum 2 Mum’s products are now available in 10 different countries, and are available exclusively in the UK and Ireland from Baby&More.

The Wonder Bib is made with 100% cotton, velour towelling which is super absorbent and it is backed with water resistant nylon.  These bibs protect against dribble rash and eczema and are extremely useful for babies with reflux.  The super absorbent Wonder Bib holds ¼ cup of liquid.

We were sent a small sleeved Wonder Bib (size 6-18months) in teal for Tristan to wear and I immediately loved the colour, it is very bright and vivid.  The bib is easy to get on Tristan and it is simple and quick to secure at the back of the neck with the poppers.  Tristan seems very comfortable wearing the bib and it fits him really well with plenty of room for him as he grows.  I think the bib front is a great size, being 29cm wide by 32cm long it covers Tristan and his clothes brilliantly providing better coverage than standard bibs.  It has a high neckline which is brilliant as the neckline of his clothes and under his chin is protected by the bib.  I love the fact that this bib is sleeved as it means his arms are protected too.  I like that the sleeves are made from thin nylon which helps get the bib on easily and he can move his arms around freely.  The sleeves are elasticated which is great to save bits of food falling into the sleeves and are a great size for Tristan and did not dig into his wrists at all.

I love this bib as it covers so well it keeps his clothes clean and he can have fun, messy mealtimes without me having messy, stained clothes to deal with afterwards.  Tristan is still learning to drink from cups and this means he does get a fair bit of liquid all over the place soaking him and his clothes; but with this bib and the great feature of the velour towelling front and water resistant nylon backing his clothes stay dry.  Thanks to the Wonder Bib we no longer have wet and food covered clothes.  As Tristan is teething and dribbling terribly a bonus of this bib is that it is also great for catching dribble and due to the absorbent front and water resistant backing I don’t have to worry about it being a wet bib against Tristan’s skin causing rashes and irritation.

Wonder Bibs are machine washable and can be tumble dried, I found the bib washes really well and dries very quickly either hung outside on the washing line or inside on our clothes horse.  So far it is still looking like new and has no stains on it at all in spite of being covered with mess numerous times and the colour is staying lovely and bright.

I would recommend the Sleeved Wonder Bib as it is the best bib I’ve tried that protects clothes and enables mealtimes to be fun and messy without the worry of dirting clothes.  The bib is a great quality and extremely practical product.

The small sleeved Wonder Bib can be purchased on Baby&More’s website for £7.00 and they also sell a large sleeved Wonder Bib (18months-3years) for £8.50.  I think the price is a tad expensive especially compared to standard plastic sleeved bibs however I think the great feature of the absorbent towelling front is worth paying extra for.  Wonder Bibs are available in a range of bright and vibrant colours and Baby&More have multi-buy offers on these bibs.  I think they would make a nice gift and you can buy personalised Wonder Bibs.

Baby&More also stock other Mum 2 Mum products on their website including Bandana Wonder Bib and Infant Wonder Bib.  As well as providing customers with Mum 2 Mum products they also sell 7AM Enfant, Coochi, Coverdry and BooginHead products.

Baby&More kindly gave us this Wonder Bib to review for free, despite this I have written an honest review that contains my own words and opinions *
