New school shoes.

With Bug growing ever so quickly and shooting up like a beansprout it feels as if I am constantly having to update his wardrobe with new clothes and shoes as he has - in what feels like a mere nanosecond - already grown out of his not so old clothes and shoes.

Even though we are not quite half way through the school year yet as Bug has had a growth spurt I have had to update his school uniform. As well as getting new trousers and shirts for my growing boy, as his feet have grown overnight (well it feels as if they have) and jumped up a shoe size a new pair of school shoes is also need.

With it being the middle of the school year not all shops have a great range of school shoes available which has limited our choices a little. Clarks Stomp Rex Shoes – Hush Puppies Jacob Shoes – Start-Rite Tarantula Shoes

Bug loves the textured panels on the Clarks Stomp Rex shoes as they look like Dino skin and he loves the Dino icons and logos for added Dinotastic appeal. We love that thanks to durable coated leather and chunky rubber sole the shoes should last well and be hard-wearing, whilst also benefitting from the antimicrobial Agion linings that help fight bacteria.

The hard wearing Hush Puppies Jacob are also top of the list as he loves the style of the shoe and the twin strap fastening. We like them as Hush Puppies are renowned for comfort and the hard wearing toe, padded collar and tough wearing soles will hopefully mean they are a pair of shoes that will last well.

Last but no means least the Start-Rite Tarantula shoes are a huge hit with Bug as he loves the ‘super cool glow in the dark bug’. The black leather shoes are also great for Bug to wear thanks to the easy to put on and take off double riptape fastening, the removeable and comfortable gel pod, and bump toe protection.
