Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment review

Disney stories and films (plus an enchanting visit to Disney World Florida) are entwined in many memories from my childhood. They evoke thoughts of the people I watched them with and the joy I had and still have in watching them. Winnie the Pooh, The Fox and the Hound, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, The Little Mermaid, Flight of The Navigator, Beauty and The Beast, Fantasia to name but a few. Then in later years Hocus Pocus, Cool Runnings, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and the Toy Story series. Really those titles are just the tip of the iceberg of Disney films that I love.

Fast forward too many years for my liking, now as a parent I get to share my love of Disney with my children. From a young age they have been bewitched by Disney magic. Disney old and new has been embraced by us. Whilst they love all Disney productions they do have a soft spot for the animated films.

Joining the superheroes squad with Hallmark itty bittys - #StrongerTogether

The boys are both mad about superheroes. Their bedroom is adorned with superhero artwork and accessories, superheroes is a strong theme that runs through a lot of the toys they play with and they have a wardrobe full of superhero costumes.

Superheroes are such a predominant theme in our household that they became part of our pregnancy announcement when I was pregnant with Jelly Bean.

Magical Disney bedroom ideas

We currently live in a 2 bedroom house. To help make it feel not so cramped the dining room is a dining room and toy room combined. Thankfully the dining room is big enough to accommodate both uses.

With our home only having 2 bedrooms the boys have to share a bedroom. The bedroom is a large room so both of their beds fit in with ease along with bedroom furniture for their clothing and a few toy boxes. Even with all the bedroom furniture they also have plenty of room to play, snuggle up to read a book or watch a show on the tablet.

One of the downsides of the boys sharing a bedroom especially as they have an age gap of 4 years is that they want their bedroom decorated differently. Until now we have decorated their section of the bedroom to their likes so the room is split with 2 different decors.

Now that Jelly Bean is 2 he is outgrowing his nursery style jungle animals decor so we have been thinking about redecorating. With that in mind I have been trying to think of a theme that would suit both of the boys so that the room is no longer split with 2 opposing themes.

Disney to the rescue!!

River Island childrenswear collection

The other day I sent a photograph of the boys on one of our adventures to my mum. Even though it has only been a few weeks since she has seen them in the flesh she was shocked at how grown up they both look.

Both of them are changing and growing up way too fast. Milestones reached and achieved, clothes grown out of as they get bigger and stronger, new achievements are mastered and their characters develop.
