During the summer a
brand new CBeebies show was launched - Kazoops!.
Kazoops! follows the
adventures of a 6 year old boy called Monty who with the help of his
best friend Jimmy Jones (the family pet pig) challenges life’s
questions. In each episode the best friends go on epic imaginary
adventures together where they question things such as ‘is it
possible to feel both happy and sad at the same time?’ and ‘whether
everyone in a family should be alike?’
One of the things
children love most about the show is the music.
Children’s TV
producer, Cheeky Little Media who produce Kazoops!, proudly released
a brand new album filled with Kazoops! music on Friday 28th October.
Kazoops! Just Imagine -
Volume 1 is the first album from the hit show that has a total of 20
songs from the popular series. Digital service providers of the
albums and individual songs include iTunes, Amazon Spotify Pandora
and YouTube. Fans of the pre-school TV series will be able to either
buy the album and individual songs or alternatively stream the music
online.
Since the launch of the
series in July 2016, the music in Kazoops! has been inspiring
children with its variety of genres and whimsical combination of
guitars, ukuleles, drums, glockenspiels, retro synths, string vocals
and more. The beautiful songs from each episode successfully
highlight the magic and power of a child’s imagination, and what
sets the songs apart is that parents love and enjoy them too.
The album features songs
including 'Rain Song', 'Space Games', 'Celebrate' and 'Matching
Socks'. The quality songs are not only catchy and fun to listen to,
sing to and dance along to but also offer educational content in the
funny lyrics and catchy tunes.
Patrick Egerton,
Executive Producer, Cheeky Little Media, commented: “Music pervades
Kazoops at all levels, and not just because each episode contains a
unique song.
“The seed of the
series concept came from our songwriter and performer Scott Langley.
He had written these amazing songs about a boy and a pig who went on
imaginary journeys. When we heard how ‘grown-up’ the music was,
and how clever and funny Scott’s lyrics were, we knew we had the
start of something cool for a preschool audience. The songs are key
to the show, and give us these visually rich adventures at the centre
of each episode that are crucial to the story but can also stand
alone as mini-music videos in their own right.”
The album will launch in
English followed by a subsequent music release in 2017 in 18 other
languages.
Bug who is a huge fan of
the show has been enjoying watching the songs on YouTube along with
his little brother who has enjoyed them too. His favourite songs are Dino Saurus Games and Monster Party. The songs are very catchy
and the bright and colourful videos are fun to watch.
