Always eat your vegetables
You should always try and have at least 5 servings of vegetables every single day. It doesn’t matter whether they are steamed, stir-fried or even raw. A diet that is very high in vegetables will reduce your chances of developing cervical, breast, lung or colon cancer. It should also be noted that the most powerful phytonutrients are found in vegetables which have the brightest colours, so it helps to keep this in mind if you are stuck as to which vegetables you should be focusing on. If you want a good starting point then try and go for vegetables and fruit such as broccoli, grapes, tomatoes, cabbage or carrots.

Shoot for 5 meals a day
Think about it, how much you eat will have a huge impact on your metabolism. It will also help you to keep a healthy weight as well. If you are not quite sure how much you should be eating then consider having 5 smaller meals a day. When you do, this will help you to manage your weight, keep your cool and ultimately, avoid cravings.

Exercise every day
Daily exercise can help you to reduce the biomarkers of ageing. This includes your eyesight, blood pressure and more. It can also really help you to improve your lean muscle mass too. If you want to live a long and healthy life then exercise is so important and studies have shown that sometimes, even just 10 minutes of exercise can help you to live longer. Something as simple as walking to the park or even playing football can work wonders for your health and you would be surprised at what a long-lasting impact it could have on you overall.

Sleep well at night
If you absolutely know that you have trouble sleeping at night, then it helps to try various techniques that will help you to relax. This can include meditation or even yoga. Whole-grain cereal with milk, chamomile tea and cherries are all great options and you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to incorporate more of them into your diet. Simply make up some fruit pots in advance or try and write down your worries.

Eat like a kid
As mentioned above, it’s so important that you eat like a kid where possible. Try and add more finger food, such as carrots, fruits or vegetables. You can even cut them up if you want. Either way, the more you can do to try and make the fruit and vegetables you have more exciting, the easier it will be for you to stick to a healthy schedule. If you want to really help yourself then focus on berries celery sticks, grapes, cherry tomatoes and other bits that you don’t have to spend too much time preparing.

Cut yourself some slack
If you are constantly at the gym, then you may feel as though you just don’t have time for anything else. At times you may even feel frustrated because you feel as though nothing you do works and that you are simply not able to shift the weight. If this is happening to you then you need to cut yourself some slack. Give yourself permission to just relax from time to time and also make sure that you are not wearing yourself out. If you do, then you may find that you never end up getting the results you are looking for and that you actually end up hindering yourself too. If you want to better your results then it may be a good idea for you to hire a personal trainer as they can give you a plan that is completely catered to your requirements.
