As
the school year comes to an end, our thoughts have turned to the
summer holidays. The boys are super excited about many weeks at home
over the school summer holidays. They are full of ideas of how to
spend the summer and are especially excited about our UK staycation holiday where we will be visiting family in Leeds before a few fun
days at Blackpool. We've got plans to visit family friendly attractions, dine at restaurant with rooms Yorkshire dales, visit museums and explore the heritage and natural wonders of Yorkshire.
As
both boys have had a recent growth spurt and have grown out of most
of their clothes, especially their summer clothes from last year they
are in desperate need of a new wardrobe. In fact T is growing so
quickly that the new swim shorts I bought him in May are already too
small and tight! In the hope that we are going to have a sun-filled
summer we need to buy them new clothes that are perfect for sunny
days. Shorts, t-shirts, lightweight short sleeve shirts and even
swimwear are needed.
Both
of the boys have their own sense of style and as such we encourage
them to dress in clothes they like. They both love clothes shopping
and know what clothes they do or do not like the look of. But as life
has been very hectic of late between my antenatal hospital appointments and the boys’ busy school calendar filled with trips
and sports days plus their active social lives, there has been little
time for a shopping trip. So to make life easier and save having to
travel to a bigger town with more shops than we have in our town we
have headed online for a summer shopping spree to get the kids a new
summer holiday wardrobe.
The
boys love Debenhams’ kids clothing range, especially the vibrant
bluezoo range which I love for its durability and high quality. As
such my bank card was hit hard on the Debenhams website. But being a
parent who loves to save money when possible I made sure to get my
money’s worth and grab any bargains. Thankfully for us Debenhams
currently have a sale on. Plus the beauty of shopping online is that
I can use promo codes to save money. Thanks to LatestDeals.co.uk I
found the latest promo codes for Debenhams that included 10% off your
first order (yay for me as I’ve never shopped online at Debenhams
before and it worked on sale items too) and free next day delivery!
As
the boys are super excited about getting their new summer clothes and
I love a bargain I thought I’d share a few of their favourite
purchases that they love the look of and that I was delighted were
also on sale, helping me save money on the big expense of getting
them a new summer wardrobe.
Both
of the boys are fans of the water and love spending their days at the
beach or pool. As such swimwear is a must. Opting for sea themed
swimwear they both picked shark print swimwear., bluezoo boys’
purple shark print swim shorts for T and bluezoo blue shark sunsafe
swimsuit for keeping H covered up in the sun. Satisfying my love of
saving money both were on sale at up to 20% off.
Ideal
for summer T picked some bluezoo white and grey linen blend shorts
and H loved the bluezoo 2 pack blue shark print shorts especially as
he thinks the shark print is cool. Yet again I was happy that they
were on sale with discounts of up to 30% off.
Both
of the boys have a love for shirts and especially like wearing short
sleeve shirts with shorts or skinny jeans during the summer. Plus the beauty of shirts are that they can be dressed up or down for a smart or casual look. They
both picked some cool shirts when shopping online with T’s
favourite being the bluezoo white palm tree cotton short sleeved
shirt and H loves the vibrant bluezoo white dinosaur print cotton
short sleeved shirt. To help us get more for our money, I was happy
that the shirts they picked were up to 30% off.
Thanks
to sales and using promo codes we saved money when get the boys a
brand new summer wardrobe which helped us get more clothes for less
money which is always handy when you are a family on a tight budget.
Here’s hoping they don’t have another growth spurt for awhile
especially as we’ve still got to kit them out with a few new items
of school uniform for September.
