ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

This summer has been filled with memories from my childhood. I have found myself reminiscing about days gone by whilst recreating adventures from my childhood with my own children.

I've loved this summer. It has echoed the summer days of my childhood as we've raced around on go-carts, gone to pick-your-own fruit farms to fill baskets overflowing with strawberries, swam in the sea, built dens in the woods, played cricket and got purple stained fingers from picking wild blackberries in the field hedgerows.

Boisterous bouncing and flippin' fun at Flip Out Chester - review

Trampolines evoke a sense of excitement and fun for my children. Both love bouncing. As we do not have room for a trampoline in our sloped, small garden they love any chance they get to bounce on trampolines when visiting friends and family who have one.

With their love of bouncing being strong when we were asked if we would like to visit a trampoline park I ‘jumped’ at the chance to take them for a fun bouncing session.

Whilst on a recent holiday to visit family in Leeds we stopped in Chester for a few days of family fun. One of our adventures included a trip to Flip Out Chester.

Flip Out Chester is described as the world’s biggest & best trampoline theme park suitable for people between 6 months and 106 years old! It boasts being a state of the art facility with brand new designs and equipment that hasn’t been seen in Europe before.

NetherMined 2 – the event for Minecraft mad kids.

For a while now Bug has been mad about Minecraft. His love of Minecraft was sparked by watching Daddy mine and craft in the World of Minecraft, with his passion for the game being truly intensified when he started watching Stampy playing Minecraft in his Lovely World on YouTube (parental lock well and truly on).

Whilst as his mum I am a touch biased, his skill at Minecraft for such a young age is amazing to me. He has quickly learnt all about Minecraft, mastering skills and learning the ins and outs of the game. His imagination and creativity comes alive in the game where as well as mining and surviving he also crafts buildings, statues, and games.

Toddlers Take Over Hyde Park Speakers' Corner.

I love Ella’s Kitchen and have done since Bug was going through the weaning stage and trying their tasty First Tastes pouches. I appreciate their tasty and healthy food for little ones and I love their fun attitude towards providing the best for little ones. As I love Ella’s Kitchen and their refreshing appreciation of the wonder of little ones I wanted to share with you all about a fun Ella’s Kitchen event that I wish I could attend but unfortunately live too far away to do so.

Ella’s Kitchen® brand opens first ever Little Speakers’ Corner for tiny toddler debates

Tomorrow, talkative toddlers will be voicing their opinions on everything from sibling rivalry quibbles, to their favourite lunch time nibbles, with the launch of the first ever ‘little’ Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park.

Enjoy a magnificent Mmmonday this August Bank Holiday Monday with St David's.

With Lee busy working overtime this time of year and Bug and I only getting a few moments here and there to spend with him we had planned that on one of his rare days off this month that we would have a lovely family day out to enjoy some quality time together.  As we need to get Bug some new shoes plus we need to get some other bits and bobs we had hoped on hitting the shops and making a day of it at a shopping centre and then having a lovely meal out together as a family.

As I mentioned in my post about loving rural life, living in the countryside near the Cardigan Bay Coast in Wales we are miles away from shopping centres and even in the nearest towns there is a lack of a decent variety of shops.  Wanting to make a day of it and hit the shops big time even if we could only afford to get a few things and do some serious window shopping we decided to try and find the time in Lee’s busy work life to take the 2 hour trip to Cardiff.

I love shopping in Cardiff, I always have a fabulous time when we visit the city and I think the fact that we do not have a great variety of shops on our doorstep makes me appreciate trips to Cardiff even more.

With a trip to Cardiff for some retail therapy (even if it turned out to only be retail therapy in the form of window shopping) planned when I heard that St David’s shopping centre were hosting a exciting event every Monday in August I hoped to be able to combine our trip to Cardiff with the event to make our family day out even more fun.

Unfortunately though since we talked last month about a trip to Cardiff and arranging for Lee to has his day off on a Monday to make the most of the St David’s Centre event we have been hit we a few dramas and issues that has meant that our family day of shopping and a meal out would have to be postponed for the foreseeable future.

Even though we have missed out on the fun at St David’s shopping centre this August as there is still one Monday left this month and the event sounds great I thought I would tell you all about it.
