Gumigem Gumidrop Necklace Review

I was recently offered the opportunity to review for Gumigem who make jewellery that is safe for teething little ones to chew on whilst giving mums the chance to wear jewellery once again.  As little man is currently teething (it feels like he is constantly teething and he still only has 4 teeth) I was keen to test out their latest creations.

Gumigem have a wide range of products suitable for teething little ones which made it difficult to decide on what product to get.  I was very tempted to get one of their bracelets but opted for a necklace instead.  As I have previously reviewed the Gumigem Raindrop pendant I thought it would be good to test out one of their latest creations which was launched at the beginning of the year.  I decided on the Gumidrop necklace as even though the Bubba Bead and the Skimmer looked lovely I thought the Gumidrop looked like a good combination of both beads and flat pebbles.

Sponsored Video - TomTom Map Paradise Project

With the miserable, wet weather we have been having lately I wish I was on a paradise island.  I would love to be enjoying some sunshine and beautiful weather, having fun adventures and exploring, swimming in beautiful blue seas and relaxing on luxurious sands.  Both Lee and I want to travel and explore more of the World, it is our dream to get married on a paradise island and we would love to take little man on exciting adventures across the globe.

As I dream of being on a paradise island with my little family when I heard of a exciting competition giving people the chance to visit a paradise island I just had to enter in the hope of being lucky and going on a dream vacation.

Yoomi Pod Review

A few months ago we tested and reviewed the Yoomi bottle and warmer.  I thought that Yoomi’s bottle warmer was an extremely innovative product.  I thought that it was a great bottle that makes warming your baby’s milk quick and easy by a touch of a button and perfect for taking the hassle out of warming feeds.  Following through testing I could only find one fault……the time it took to recharge the warmer.

Since then Yoomi have created a new product called the Yoomi Pod that was designed to make charging the warmer quick and simple.  As Yoomi have created this new innovative Pod that looks like a solution to the only fault I could find with the Yoomi bottle and warmer I was keen to see if the new charging Pod takes the hassle out of charging the warmer and if it helps to make “Yoomi the ultimate baby bottle”.

Pimp your crib baby!

When we found out I was pregnant with little man Lee soon started thinking about how he would design and decorate our little baby’s nursery.  He had a few ideas before settling on doing a rainforest/jungle theme.  I loved watching Lee decorate the nursery, spending hours creating a colourful nursery in anticipation of our little bundle of love.  I absolutely adore little man’s room and love Lee even more for being so dedicated, creative and passionate about making a fun, attractive room for our gorgeous little man.

When I heard about a great competition that asks parents to enter photographs of their little one’s nursery for a chance to win Mothercare vouchers I thought I would tell you all about the competition.

Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil Review

During pregnancy as your baby grows and your bump expands your skin is stretched to accommodate the ever growing bump that holds your precious baby.  For many women during pregnancy as their skin is stretched stretch marks are formed.  Even though stretch marks can form on other people other than pregnant women, i.e. people who put on or lose weight and teenagers going through puberty, the hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy affects your skin and can make it more likely that stretch marks appear.  Before getting pregnant I already had a host of stretch marks adorning my body from puberty and as my pregnancy progressed I noticed that I got a few more to add to my collection and they were a lot more visible than my old ones which are very faint.  Whilst pregnant I never bought a cream or oil for my stretch marks.  Following my review of the Weleda Baby Tummy Oil, Weleda offered one of their oils for my pregnant friend to try.  I was keen to see how effective it was and to see if it would be worth me using when I am pregnant again.

Upset little man

Towards the end of last week little man was poorly.  During the night he woke up crying and was very upset.  When little man first woke we assumed it was teething that was troubling him as he has been chewing on everything he can get his hands on of late and dribbling immensely.  We spent most of the early hours of the hour with little man crying and not settling down to sleep.

In the morning I took him to see the doctors as even though we thought it was a stomach bug that was upsetting him and making him poorly I wanted him to be seen by the doctor to be on the safe side.  We had to wait for quite a long time at the doctor’s surgery before being buzzed in to see the doctor which was rather inconvenient with a little one who was grumpy and ill.
