The Best E-Bike Tours in the World

Collaborative post

Summer vacation is near and you are probably planning your next trip. If you are in a place in your life where you want to try new things, more interesting and more adventurous, you can start this summer. A special and extremely enjoyable idea is to try to do an E-bike tour.

E-Bike tours are tours where people are choosing to use electric bikes for their transportation. Electric bikes are helpful for the people who are riding them, they can push them or get them over a hill, or they can help them to cycle faster and don’t miss the whole adventure.

E-bike tours are a challenge for everyone that believes that he is not that fit for a tour like that, because after the whole tour, he will feel stronger, and he is going to have more faith in himself.

If you are considering trying an e-bike tour, you are in the right place. Here you will find the most exciting, fun, and must tour all over the world.

Snow Season Shopping with Simply Hike

Even though I bet as soon as the kids go back to school this September that we have a mini heatwave as we only have a handful of days left of the summer holidays and our family holiday enjoying the beach in the sun seems a lifetime ago my thoughts have turned to winter adventures.

I adore the snow just as much as I love the sun. Holidays in snowy climates are just as amazing as beach holidays. Over the years I have had incredible experiences on the slopes and love the feeling of skiing in stunning surroundings with the sun glistening on the crisp white snow.

Scooter Tips and Tricks.

Last Christmas we got Bug a Spiderman scooter after he showed an interest in scooters and skateboards after watching kids and teenagers scoot, skate and do tricks at the local skateboard park.

Bug has loved scooting along on his scooter with his Transformers helmet for safety.

Whilst Bug has been more than happy simply scooting along I know it won’t be long before he is keen to start trying cool tricks as he is always admiring the skilled people at the skateboard park who showcase super cool tricks on their scooters.

Summer Hunt Activity Sheet by E-Outdoor.

We are huge fans of nature and the great outdoors. We love playing in the great outdoors, enjoying a natural childhood as we make the most of the wondrous world around us. Not only is playing in nature and the great outdoors lots of fun but it is also a fantastic learning experience.

As we love playing and learning in the great outdoors we have been making the most of the sunny weather that has been shining down on us so far this summer holidays by spending everyday playing outdoors.  Thanks to the lovely weather this summer has been the perfect time for Bug to accomplish a few more achievements from the National Trust’s 50 Things List and tick off a number of fun activities from his summer bucket list.

As well as having lots of fun outdoors playing and mastering new accomplishments, Bug has also been learning about nature and science whilst also developing his language and creative skills. Realising that summer can be the perfect time for children to explore the great outdoors, have fun and nurture their knowledge with fun learning activities, E-Outdoor have created a Summer Hunt Activity Sheet.

My dream garden for the ultimate garden party.

As I love being outdoors when we moved I was pleased that our new home had a garden where Bug and I can play outdoors, grow plants and admire flowers blooming and where we can have little garden parties with friends and family.  Unfortunately our garden was neglected by the previous tenants so we have been giving our garden some much needed TLC in the hope of transforming it from a barren, unloved garden to a lovely haven with beautiful blooms and luscious grass with space for Bug to play and enjoy outdoors toys as well as a space where we can sit and entertain friends and family.

Sprucing up our garden has sparked thoughts about how I would love my garden to look like and what garden items I would love to have in our little slice of outdoors heaven.  Imagining my dream garden has ignited thoughts about how we will enjoy said dream garden, in particular how we will enjoy partying in the sunshine, enjoying the company of our dearest friends and family at our summer garden parties.

Starting from scratch, with no garden items, limited plants, no garden furniture and only a handful of small outdoor toys, our garden is the perfect canvas to work on so we can create our dream family garden, a garden that we will enjoy as a family and where we will hold fun summer garden parties.  Unfortunately thanks to a lack of funds our dream garden is a slow work in progress and it may well take us a long time to get everything that we want to make our dream garden a reality and make it the perfect garden for hosting ultimate garden parties but that does not stop me from dreaming……

BI-Folding Doors
As I love the outdoors, I would love to have Bi-Folding Doors that will bring elements of the outdoors into our home and create an open airy space indoors whilst seamlessly bringing the indoors and outdoors together in unison.  Another bonus of having Bi-Folding Doors is that the huge, foldable doors will open up the house so that I can keep an eye on Bug and see him enjoying himself when he is playing outdoors with his friends and I have to pop into the house (most probably to stock up on snacks and drinks for the busy little kids).

Not only will having Bi-Folding Doors connect my dream garden to our home it will also be a stunning element to our home that would bring the WOW factor to any garden party.  Having huge open doors will allow party-goers to socialises indoors and outdoors with easy, make it easier to move food and drinks outdoors and provide stunning views of our garden and fun garden party to the guests who are relaxing in the comfort of our living room overlooking the garden.  A big bonus of having Bi-Folding Doors for garden parties is that the guests who decide to sit inside to escape the sun for a while will still feel like they are part of the party.

Sprucing up our garden without breaking the bank.

As I have previously mentioned the garden in our new home needs a lot of TLC after being unloved and not tended to for a long time.   Even though we have slowly been trying to spruce up our garden by giving the grass some much needed TLC and ridding the garden of weeds unfortunately a lack of funds means it is a slow process to completely transform our garden from a unused barren space into a beautiful haven filled with lots of flowers, garden ornaments and garden furniture.

Being on a low income and watching our spending with a #SpendingDiary in the hope of saving money and improving our financial situation, I have decided to look upon turning our garden into a beautiful and blooming space as a long term project rather than splurging to transform the garden all in one go, spending money we can’t afford to spend to get everything we want for our garden.

As we can’t afford to spend a lot on our garden, with a lot of hard work I have been making the garden look a little better by getting rid of the weeds and clearing the garden debris left behind by the previous tenants.  The work we have done in the garden so far has improved how the garden looks without breaking the bank.

When we moved into our new home we had no garden tools, plant pots or garden furniture at all, so starting from scratch to kit our new garden could potentially be very expensive.  One of the big expenses that we needed to get for our garden was a lawnmower so that we could tend to the garden and keep it trimmed and tidy.  Dreading having to fork out the expense of buying a lawnmower I had been keeping an eye on ebay and local selling sites in the hope of picking up a second-hand lawnmower at a fraction of the cost of a new one.  Thankfully a couple of months ago my wishes for a cheap second-hand lawnmower were granted when I managed to snap up a working Flymo lawnmower on ebay for the bargain price of 99p!!!

Conquering a new Castle.

I love days out with Bug.  Whilst children themed play places and attractions are fun and exciting, my favourite days out with Bug have been day's spent in the great outdoors and enjoying nature at its best as well as trips to visit beaches, time at National Trust properties and historic attractions.

As Bug used to love conquering Cilgerran Castle before we moved I thought it was about time he conquered a new Castle now that we live further afield from his beloved Cilgerran Castle.

With that in mind this past half term we took a walk to the Castle in town and enjoyed a peaceful afternoon exploring Haverfordwest Castle with the sunshine showcasing the castle beautifully in all of its glory.

Let's Grow Wild! #GrowWild

I have always loved spending my time outdoors in nature and since having Bug my love of being outdoors has been rekindled thanks to the many moments we have had together exploring and playing outdoors.  We love the great outdoors and love nothing more than enjoying time together as a family having fun outdoors come rain or shine, relishing in the wonder of Mother Nature.

I have many fond memories of our time spent together in the great outdoors such as the time we had a rainy day adventure at the beach where we were the only ones mad enough to brave the beach in the rain, the bank holiday when Bug was a muddy mess as he played in the mud during a lovely walk in the countryside and when Bug loved getting green fingered and having fun getting into a mucky mess as he took part in a Kids Grow Wild challenge.

Whilst I love being outdoors regardless of the weather or time of year, and appreciate all of the seasons and all types of weather for their own unique, special reasons there is something enchanting about spring and summer when flowers are emerging and blossoming into beautiful blooms.  I love walking in the countryside, appreciating the wildlife and admiring wild flowers that attract insects, beautiful buzzing bumble bee’s collecting pollen and fluttering butterflies.

Playing in puddles.

Both Bug and I love being outdoors.  Bug loves playing outside with his bikes, trikes, balls and slide.  He loves trips to the park and gets giddy with excitement when we go to woodlands, wildlife centres and nature reserves for walks.  He loves going for walks, running around like a little mad man, exploring and having lots of fun.  He also loves going to the beach, playing in the sand and splashing in the sea.

I like for Bug to enjoy the great outdoors in a variety of ways and in different weather conditions.  We have had lots of fun outdoors regardless of the weather.  We have enjoyed the beach countless times in the beautiful sunshine and we have enjoyed the beach in the pouring down rain.  We have had fun going for country walks in the rain as well as on sunny days.  We have made the most of puddles left by the rain for puddle jumping play and have had fun filled times making a muddy mess playing with mud and dirt.  We have also had wintery fun playing in the snow.

This week in between downpours of torrential rain Bug made the most of the big puddles left by the rain when we grabbed a chance of playing outside for a short while before the rain returned once again.

Bug zoomed around the farm tracks on his bike looking for puddles to race through.

Rain, rain go away…..come again another day.

For the last few days all we have had is rain, rain and lots more rain.  Even though I don’t hate the rain it is starting to annoy me and get in the way of fun adventures with Bug plus it makes drying clothes outside impossible.

At the beginning of the week we managed to get outside for a little bit in between showers of rain and Bug had lots of fun riding on his bike making use of the big puddles left by the rain to zoom through.  As Bug loves racing around outside on his bike on Tuesday when we got caught in a shower of rain he zoomed off refusing to go back inside, ending up like a drowned little rat.

Thankfully though it was only a small shower so Bug could play outside for a little while longer but predictably the rain didn’t stay away for that long though and we have been chased back inside by torrential rain before Bug ended up being more of a drowned rat than he already was.

On Wednesday I saw hope of having a dry few days.  Making the most of the dry weather Bug and I managed a little play at the park in town before we went shopping.  But alas the dry weather did not last and within a few hours the rain was hammering down once more.

With all the rainy weather and cold days we have been having of late I think it is time I get Bug a new puddlesuit and some winter clothes so we can play outside whatever the weather.
